Limited Medical Radiography

Program overview:

  • 10- Month Diploma Program
  • Daytime classes
  • Graduates will be eligible to take the Florida BXMO State Exam (Basic X-Ray machine operation) administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

ATA’s 10 month LMR program will train you to:

    • Explain exam procedures
    • Prepare and safely position patients for radiographic exams
    • Adjust radiographic equipment for a specific exam
    • Operate radiographic equipment
    • Provide quality radiographs for physicians or radiologists

Graduates of the LMR program will be eligible to take the Florida BXMO State Exam (Basic X-Ray machine operation) as well as the Florida Limited Radiography examination administered by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists.

ATA’s LMR program consists of 260 hours of offsite clinical experience.
